Pick-Up & Drop-Off
Long lines, awkward conversations, intimidating settings, and bad snacks. You could likely use all of these descriptors when thinking about some normal pick-up/drop-off/registration experiences. Those things may be true…but thank goodness we’re not normal.
CHECK-IN: Our Check-In process begins at 4:00pm on Sunday and wraps up by 5:30pm. We’ll be checking to make sure all paperwork has been submitted and that your account is fully paid. Campers will also visit our nurse for a lice check, and to review any allergies and medications (if applicable).
PICK-UP: On Saturday, parents can begin showing up at 9:30. Our chapel will be open for you to sit and relax in, while our campers finish packing up, signing each other’s new camp shirts, and saying goodbye to their friends. At 10:00am, they will all come to the chapel, and together we will watch the slideshow from the week. After our short goodbye ceremony, we will send you on your way, which will be no later than 10:30am!
Day Only Campers (not Voyagers)
SUNDAY CHECK-IN: It is very important that each Day Camper attends the Sunday afternoon Check-In process. We will collect all forms, give out important information for camp, and connect Day Campers with their cabin mates. Day Campers are welcome to stay until 9:00pm on Sundays, but they may also leave immediately after check-in if desired.
DROP-OFF: From Monday – Friday, drop off is 8:00am. This is done by our Flag Pole/Dining Hall parking lot off of Route 9A.
PICK-UP: Pick up each day is at 9:00pm by our office. Counselors will be there to make sure campers are signed out prior to leaving with you for the night.
We also understand that on some days, you may not be able to leave your camper with us until 9:00pm. For this reason, we do offer a secondary pick up time of 4:30pm. If you need to utilize this time, please send an email to email@example.com with the date(s) you’ll be picking up at 4:30pm. A counselor will bring your camper over to the office to meet you then. Outside of these hours, we are unable to accommodate other pick up times!
SATURDAY PICK-UP: There is no program for Day Campers on Saturday. However, if campers and parents would like to join us for the end of week slideshow at 10:00am, they are welcome to!
What to Bring
Packing for camp is hard! We remember going to camp ourselves, not knowing what the day holds or what outfit works best for a slightly overcast day. We won’t add to that complexity; thankfully, our list is pretty simple, and you can take a look at it below!
Part of our registration process includes a mandatory medical information section that is required from all campers. In addition to this, we are required by NH State law to collect the following documents, all of which may or may not be required based on your child’s needs.
DOCTOR’S PHYSICAL FORM (Required for all campers)
May be signed by any licensed physician, physician assistant, or a nurse practitioner. You are not required to use our form, this is just for your convenience.
Immunization Records (Required for all campers)
This will often be included in the physical; however, if not, it must be provided.
If your child will be bringing any medications, please complete this form.
If your child will be bringing an Epi-Pen or an Inhaler, please complete this form.
If your child is not immunized for religious reasons, please complete this form.
Important Note: The best way to get your forms back to us and to help us run a quick and easy check-in day is to upload all required forms to your online account. You may access your account by following this link, where you should see an option to do this. Please call us if you have trouble accessing this, we would be happy to help.

9AM – 10AM: Morning Sessions (Games, Rock Wall, Tubing, Kayaking, Low Ropes, etc.)
10AM – 11AM: All-Camp Game

3PM – 5PM: Beach Block
5PM – 6PM: Rest Hour
7PM: Evening Activity

Do you provide meal options for those with food allergies?
We absolutely do. Part of the registration process is learning which of our campers have allergies. Our food service team will create allergen-free options for those with specific food allergies or sensitivities.
Does my family/camper need to be religious to attend Camp Spofford?
Not at all! While we are a Christian camp who integrates chapel services, prayer, and devotionals into our programming, we serve campers from many different faith and non-faith backgrounds.
Will my child be able to room with their friends?
Most likely! We try to accommodate as many cabin requests as we reasonably can. We break cabins down by age, so as long as friends are close to each other in age we will be able to put them in the same cabin. When registering, be sure to fill out the Roommate Request section on the Youth Camper Form to tell us who you’d like your child to be paired with.
Do I need to pay anything to reserve my child’s spot for camp?
Yes! We require a deposit when you register your child. The deposit for Youth Camp (Overnight and Day Only) is $100 per child, per week. For Voyagers, the deposit is $50 per camper, per week. The deposit for Aftershock is $250 per child.
I’ve already paid my deposit, but my child can no longer attend. What’s your cancellation policy?
Unfortunately, all deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Any payments made in excess of the deposit may be refunded.
